What it costs
You buy credit and spend it. A top-up is any amount from $1 to $200, and bought credit does not expire — there is no monthly charge and nothing to cancel. Stripe handles the payment; Notchi never sees your card.
Each model's card in the app shows its input, output, and cached prices per million tokens before you spend anything. A request is charged from the token counts the model provider reports.
While the welcome gift runs, a new account starts with $1 of credit, valid for 30 days.
Every other provider in Notchi stays as it was: bring your own key, or sign in to a command-line tool, and the request goes straight from your Mac to whoever you picked.
The models
The Ask menu lists the Auto models first. Auto (US) runs on a US host and is the default; Auto (NSR) runs wherever it is served. Which model runs behind an Auto name is our choice, so it can improve without an update on your side.
Named models — GPT-6, GLM-5.3-Flash, DeepSeek-Flash, MiMo-V2.6 and others — are under More models, each at its own price. Their cards show where each one is served.
Jev
Once you have added $1 or more, at any point, Copy sensing can use Jev at no charge. It spots tasks, dates, questions, addresses, and order numbers in what you copy. Jev also puts emoji reactions on the messages you send, free for every account.
Adding credit
Open Notchi, go to Settings → Model, and pick Notchi. The pane shows your balance and Add credit.
Billing history, under More on the same pane, lists every purchase and opens its receipt. There is no plan to end: stop adding credit and nothing else happens.
Privacy
Requests to Notchi's models pass through our gateway on Cloudflare. It records the model, token counts, and charge for each request, not what you asked or what the model answered. Section 15 of the Privacy Policy has the full list.
